Classic line - Friuli Grave

Exclusively produced with the homonym grapes, our Cabernet Franc is obtained after 2 weeks of fermentation on the skins. It has a distinct herbaceous flavour, intense and so persistent as to give the impression of tasting the grapes. The violet colour and the wide ranging bouquet and aroma make it an important wine to accompany roasts, game and mature sharp cheeses.
This wine is vinified from hand harvested grapes. The must undergoes at the beginning a cold maceration on the skins for 3-5 days, then the fermentation is carried out in tanks at a controlled temperature of 25° C. The grapes undergo several "delestage" during the first 8 steeping days. Refinement takes place both in steel tanks and in big barrels. A further period of refinement is carried out in the bottles before being released.
