FRIULANO DOC "V. Villotte"
Cru Line - Friuli Grave

Autochthonic vine variety of Friuli, this vine is cultivated in the vineyards situated in the area called "Villotte". The vine finds its ideal place in those clayed soils. Its colour is pale yellow with green glints, on the nose it is complex, slightly mineral and floral, opens then to clear scents of exotic and citrus fruits. Dry, good-structured, elegant and persistent, it is characterized by its pleasant touch of almond. Soft and velvety because of its slight acidity, this wine is one of the jewels of the Lazzarotto winery.
The wine process is made with grapes handpicked and selected, in perfect health conditions and well ripened. The grapes are processed cold for one day, followed by pressing. The resulting must is settled for 48 hours and then fermented for 12 days at a controlled temperature of 17-18° C. Maturation takes place in steel tanks until bottling. Another refinement period is carried out in bottle, prior to release.
